·         She played the mbira, or thumb piano, which only men were traditionally supposed to play in Zimbabwe
·         Along with her late husband, Andy Brown, also a prominent musician  they both have two children
·         Originally born in USA in 19 76, she only returned to her Zim ROOTS at the age of 7
·         Pneumonia….. cause of her death kept her in hospital for 20 days, with severe pain in her chest
