Looking good for today’s women of purpose is now a norm, a lady that looks good automatically feels good
A lady that dresses up and  out without touch of refined ,sophistication and some dash of perfume is incomplete, even the revered and somehow feared style icon COCO CHANNEL once mused, a lady that dresses without a perfume at hand is not ambitious’’
It is all in bid to make women look more chic that motivated legendary Africa’s looking good connoisseur, Benny Obaze of the famous BEVISTA  and JEVISTA come to town with an unconventional women line called RIVISTA

UNUSUAL DRESS SENSE AT AMSTARDAM ARENA
Signor Osage reporting

Not so distance time ago, Top Nigerian politician, business entrepreneur, human right advocate, Niger Delta opinion leader and fashion dictator, High CHIEF, Ebi Shiddi Spiff, the man from Bayelsa Royal home caused a major stir at the imposing Amsterdam Airport with his breath-taking dress sense

Shortly as he transited in a KLM flight, he was accosted by a serving top Nigeria government official with his white partner. Could he be confronted based on some accusations? No Spiff was confronted on account of his dress sense

He was wearing rare blue shoes to match his blue rear suit
The top government official met Spiff and said, ‘’ HEY we love your fashion sense, very rare, its KLM color, is it on purpose? After thanking them, Spiff was quick to add, ‘’ I LL  rather prefer you loving my passion not my fashion, for good dressing and looking good is my passion, my way of life that I do not joke with’’

This must not come as surprise to many, Spiff is regarded as one of best dressed Nigerians in Abuja and the country as a whole, he had in past worked for 2 governors of Bayelsa and even the president, Dr Good luck  Jonathan as domestic anchor, coordinating the presidents wardrobe

Now delving into high level politics, Spiff will be talking to the youths on way forward to  their future , but chief of all he has agreed to talk to CERUTTI MEDIA GROUP on the present government transformation agenda…………………..TRANSFORMATION OF MY BOSS GEJ is what I live for now ‘he confessed

‘’ Only an auctioneer can be enthusiastic about all forms of Art’’-Oscar Wilde

BORN INTO THE   ARTS. LIVING WITH   THE ARTS.NOW SET TO TAKE ARTS TO THE VERY MOUNTAIN TOP: AN ENCOUNTER WITH MRS JOSEPHINE OBOH-MACLEOD, THE ADOLOR OF EMU

She is not a run of the mill lady, woman, wife, and mother. She is unconventional in many ways than one
I first encountered her at the grandeur 50 birthday ball of senior writer of Nigeria, Mr. Jahman Anikulapo, the earthswhile Guardian on Sunday editor, held at the prestigious Sheraton hotel and towers, a short while ago
Two factors have prompted my interest in her
The massive and beautiful arts collection at the foyers leading to the hall of the birthday of the great art lover, Jahman. On entry to the hall, I was struck by the beauty of the artistic collection, on enquiry I WAS told it was works of a lady that loved arts and since Jahman is her art brother, she decided to bring her works from her home and gallery to spice the occasion at no cost; not for sale, but just to beautify the place artistically
The second factor that attracted me to this charismatic lady of four children was what I in her wrist during the dinner session that night. On her wrist I saw a set of expensive and antique like beads she was wearing
Being a traditionalist myself, I SUMMON courage to where she was with few friends and family members of the celebrant, exchanging banters
As I walked to her, I WAS bold enough to tell her, I love and admire the beads in her right hands, I was quick to tell her that my late dad was chief in our village, and one of the beads she spotted made me reached out to her
That stamen alone, made her loosing up, and there and then welcomed me and admitted it was not an ordinary beads she was wearing and that as the ADOLOR OF Her kingdom, anytime she steps out she wears priceless beads
Ever since, we have steadily been in touch. Her husband, a most genteel man is British named, Norman C. MacLeod who is past chieftain of an honorary PIPER to the Lagos Caledonian SOCIETY, and a retired Shell petroleum international employee who is now Chief operating officer of Sinopec Nigeria Limited and also a director of Kakafoni limited. Together they are blessed with four lovely children
Any attempt to uncover the real true Mrs. Josephine Oboh-MacLeod is definitely not a kid’s task. When we went to her Ikoyi home, we were held in total awe……………maybe ruptured is more befitting word; from the gate, the corridor, passage etc we saw arts littered like nuts
Inside the inner chamber was a heaven like setting, all surrounded with arts works. ‘’ Are they for sale? ‘’ we asked first before seating down. ‘’ No , they are our personal collections, it must not be strange to you, as I GREW up also as kid seeing arts all  over our home, I WAS AMAZED.
THOUGH the meeting was brief, she pledge based on her integrity to grant us a more elaborate audience at a later date to talk about her life, arts, exploit, international voyage, why she married a white man over her Nigerians admirers and of course how she got her prestigious title as ADOLOR OF EMU kingdom
All these are for later dates…………..but sure we are not about leaving her if she fail to tell us about the mystery of the arts works and art world
Here her: “ART IS A CREATIVE PROCESS THAT WILL NEVER STOP EXISTING. IT IS A GIFT TO US THAT WE NEED TO APPRECIATE. IF WE LOOK AROUND, WE WILL NOTICE THE BEAUTIFUL AND IMPERATIVE WORKS OF THE GREATEST ARTSIT, THE ALMIGHTY’’

SOFT DRINK GIANT,COCA-COLA ,THE CLASSIC DRINK TEAMS UP WITH IFC IN BIG
$100m INITIATIVE TO SUPPORT WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS IN AFRICA

Gigantic soft drink,  The Coca-Cola Company and IFC (International Finance Corporation), a member of the World Bank Group, today announced a $100 million, three-year joint initiative to provide access to finance for women entrepreneurs in Eurasia and Africa.
The collaboration builds on the synergies between Coca-Cola’s 5by20 women’s economic empowerment initiative and IFC’s Banking on Women program to help address barriers women entrepreneurs commonly face in some of the world’s poorest countries.  IFC will work through its network of local and regional banking institutions to provide financing and business skills training to small and medium sized businesses that are owned or operated by women entrepreneurs across the Coca-Cola value chain.
“Women entrepreneurs make significant contributions to emerging and developing economies, yet have lower access to finance than their male counterparts.  By providing greater access to capital, we are investing in our own success and the success of the communities we serve,” said Nathan Kalumbu, president of Eurasia and Africa Group, The Coca-Cola Company.  “We are excited about this opportunity to harness the collective power of our organizations to positively impact women in Eurasia and Africa.”
“Women entrepreneurs represent significant untapped economic potential in developing countries—they are essential for creating jobs and achieving sustainable growth,” said James Scriven, IFC Director of Financial Markets. “This innovative partnership with Coca-Cola will help expand access to finance for thousands of women who are part of the company’s supply and distribution chain.”
Work related to this initiative is already beginning in Nigeria. Coca-Cola and IFC are working with Access Bank to provide financing to women micro-distributors (MDCs) in the Coca-Cola value chain, in close collaboration with Coca-Cola’s bottling partner, Nigerian Bottling Company.
This initiative with IFC is a notable milestone for 5by20, The Coca-Cola Company’s global initiative to enable the economic empowerment of five million women across the Company’s global value chain by 2020.  Launched in 2010, 5by20 is helping women succeed as entrepreneurs, while also creating thriving, sustainable communities by providing access to business skills, financial services, assets and support networks of peers and mentors.  5by20 currently has programs in 12 countries.
IFC Banking on Women is playing a catalyzing role helping financial institutions and corporate partners like The Coca-Cola Company, and chambers of commerce to profitably and sustainably serve businesses owned by women, focusing on regions and countries that have strong enabling ecosystems for small and medium enterprises and large numbers of women entrepreneurs.  The Banking on Women portfolio has made 20 investments in Eastern Europe, East Asia and Africa and a robust pipeline of new investments is under development.
