BIG PAY DAY FOR DIE-HARD ARSENAL AFRICAN FANS

This is big deal for the vociferous Arsenal fans in Nigeria and As part of a radio campaign organized in February 2013, Emirates airline in partnership with Beat FM awarded Arsenal soccer fans in Nigeria.

"Through Emirates collaboration with Beat FM, Arsenal fans were given the opportunity to possess original and personalised Arsenal jerseys," said Paulos Legesse, Emirates Country Manager, Nigeria. "Emirates has a long-standing commitment to sport sponsorships and been involved with a wide range of sporting events and activities around the world for over 20 years."

In 2004, Emirates and Arsenal agreed a record sponsorship deal, which gave the airline naming rights of the club's new home, the Emirates Stadium, as well as the opportunity to host an annual pre-season tournament - the Emirates Cup. The contract was extended in 2012, with Emirates to remain shirt sponsors until the end of the 2018-19 season, while the stadium partnership will run until 2028. Emirates also has a joint venture with the club in the UAE - Arsenal Soccer Schools Dubai, which is based at the airline's dedicated sporting and event facility, The Sevens.

Arsenal Football Club is an English Premier League football club based in Holloway, London. One of the most successful clubs in English football, it has won 13 First Division and Premier League titles and 10 FA Cups.
