RUTHLESS SUPER EAGLES SHOW CLASS IN MAIDEN CONFED CUP OUTING

It was true test for Africa's king of the beautiful game last night when Nigeria was on fire in their first ever Confed cup victory in Brazil

Yesterday Monday 17th June 2013, the Nigerian football team won their first match against Tahiti at the on going 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

The African champions won against the pacific islanders 6 to 1. The  match started on a pretty good note, even after a tumultuous trip to Brazil for the team. 25 year old Nigerian defender Uwa Echejile scored the first goal at the 5th minute during the first match. He later scored another at the 80th minute during the second half.
But 22 year old striker Nnamdi Oduamadi was the star of the night scoring 3 goals at the 10th, 26th and 76th minutes. Jonathan Tehau also scored at the 69th minute.

This is no doubt a victory for a continnet that has mainly football as one of its major unifying tool
